His hobbies as a kid consisted of training swordplay with a stick and reading the few books that his family could afford over and over again. The first major impact on his life occurred when he discovered that his mother had died during child birth. BACKSTORYAtum was born and raised in the village of Konohagakure. Due to an unforeseen accident during birth however, Atum's mother passed away before she got the chance to hold her little boy in her arms.From there, his father tried his best to raise his son on his own and make sure that he'd turn out to be a strong and dependable ninja for the village. Unfortunately for both of them however, after a few years time together it became apparent that destiny had something else in mind, it seemed. During a mission Atum's father got ambushed by bandits and got overwhelmed despite his best efforts to save his men.From that day forth, Atum was raised by different families that he had helped out with small tasks over the years. Despite their attempts to make him feel welcome and accepted, Atum knew deep down that his real family was gone and that he was but a burden for those kind, generous people. He helped his various 'foster parents' in any meaningful way to make himself useful and hopefully repay their kindness one day. During these years he realized that those different families that vastly different outlooks on life and ways to handle things. So instead of just blindly following in his parents' footsteps, he took everything they taught him and formed his own opinions and beliefs with the best from each family that helped him along the day.Atum will do everything in his power to protect the people that took him in and loved him unconditionally. He's a Shinobu of the Hidden Leaf Village and he will protect its people no matter the cost.

Academy Days AU

This depiction of Atum will be featuring a younger version of the man. Specifically his time at Konoha's Ninja Academy.The age of this AU can freely range from 12 in his first year at the school to 16 in his year of graduating and becoming a Shinobi himself.

Rogue AU

This variant of Atum will include darker themes overall.After the untimely demise of his parents, Atum had very little that held him in Konohagakure. Accordingly, he swiftly defected from his former village and began his life as a rogue. He honed his skills with small weapons and came up with a scroll imbued with the capability to summon any small throwing weapons to his position that he had stored away in his various hideouts.Admittedly, he had almost no weapons to his name at first, but with each successful robbery he accumulated more and more weapons and money to expand his collection and in turn his offensive capabilities.
